The ceremonies will be streamed to the Bryant website https://www.bryant.edu and the Commencement website https://commencement.bryant.edu and detailed communications will be sent leading up to the weekend.
Class of 2020 diplomas were mailed to all graduates.
Baccalaureate Service – Friday, May 21, 2021 at 4PM – Main Commencement Tent
An interfaith ceremony of thanksgiving for graduates, families, and friends, led by Bryant chaplains featuring music, readings, and reflection. Students do not a wear cap and gown during this. Guests are welcome with advance registration.
2020 Graduates must be on campus at 9:30 am and will be directed to check-in to receive their reader cards. Check your Bryant email for further details and follow signage on campus.
Each graduate will be permitted a maximum of two guests who must be registered in advance. Registration links were sent via a digital invitation and registration is now closed.
Guests who are registered in advance will be checked-in, receive a wrist band, and will be seated under the tent with chairs spaced three-feet apart. Due to public health standards and best practices, Bryant University will require masking and three-foot social distancing outdoors for all graduates and guests.
All those participating in ceremonies and their guests viewing Commencement on campus will no longer need to take a PCR screening test for COVID-19 within 48 hours of the ceremony itself.
Reader cards are required to process and participate in the ceremony. They are used to call the graduate’s name on the day of the ceremony. Graduates will receive their reader card at check-in on campus.
Bryant University will have the following special accommodations available at all commencement ceremonies:
- Assisted Listening Devices
- ASL Interpretation
- Wheelchair accessible seating and restrooms
- Accessible parking
